Meet Our GOCO Intern: Anali Blue!

We’d like everyone to meet our summer intern! This position is funded by Great Outdoors Colorado.

My name is Anali Blue (Uh-Nah-Lee). I am a Denver Native and currently a student at the illustrious HBCU Tuskegee University. I am a Wildlife Major and so taking this internship at Bluff Lake was the best thing that could’ve happened to me this summer. Bluff Lake and I have some history together, My first time here was in the 3rd grade and I even took my senior photos here during high school.

During my internship at Bluff Lake has been nothing less than fun and educational. I have been able to develop and conduct my own wildlife surveys alongside our land manager Erickson Smith. Wildlife is my passion but this job also taught me the other side of land management like the maintenance side. We have done many projects on site from putting signs up to building structures with our own hands and minds.

I am most thankful for this opportunity.
