CONSTRUCTION SITE ACCESS
Construction on Bluff Lake’s Campus Improvements Project begins on MARCH 17, 2025 and is anticipated to last through Fall 2025. To learn more about our project and make a donation, please visit our Campus Campaign page!
Bluff Lake has activated two new entrances for use during construction.
Our HAVANA PEDESTRIAN ENTRANCE is directly adjacent from Florence Way crosswalk (A Location to the right)! The Havana Pedestrian Entrance will be a permanent entrance, and will provide greater access to the site for our neighbors to the north and west.
Our SOUTHWEST PEDESTRIAN ENTRANCE to be open during the next year of construction, for site access for our neighbors to the south and east (B Location to the right).
During construction, the entire parking lot area, as well as the ramp and stairs down into the site will be closed (orange area below). The site will only be accessible through our new HAVANA and SOUTHWEST Entrances. The entrances will be open on March 17, 2025.
The new Havana entrance and the adjacent area will serve as our team’s Havana Headquarters during construction, complete with storage for our teams supplies, portopotties and a handwashing station, a large shade structure, and more. There will be no onsite parking during construction, so we encourage folks to roll or stroll to the site!
Construction FAQ
-
Construction is anticipated to last 8-9 months, roughly mid March through the end of November 2025.
-
No, unfortunately there will be no onsite parking during construction. We encourage anyone who is able to roll or stroll to the site. If you need to drive, public street parking is available to the west and south of the site. We then recommend crossing the street via crosswalk and entering one of our new entrances. For parking on the west side, turn west on Florence Way, cross the street at the Havana/Florence Way crosswalk, and enter our new Havana Entrance. For parking on the south of our site, turn south on Kingston , cross the street at the Kingston/MLK crosswalk, and enter our new Southwest Entrance. See diagram for more details.
